Mechanic / Technician (Apprentice) – Granby, Quebec

About the position

We are looking for a passionate automotive mechanic/technician motivated by professional development. You will work in a dynamic environment focused on quality interventions and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Repair or replace defective components or parts using manual and mechanical tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance (oil changes, lubrication, tune-ups).
• Conduct road tests to confirm diagnostics and test repairs.
• Clearly communicate to technical advisors the work performed, the general condition of the vehicles, and any repairs needed.
• Participate in training to continually develop your technical skills.

Tasks and areas of intervention

• Wheel alignment
• Oil and filter changes
• Diagnosis and repair of hybrid or electric vehicles
• Electrical and electronic diagnostics and repairs
• Tire and wheel installation
• Battery replacement
• Suspension and steering repairs
• Brake system repair and maintenance (hydraulic)

Desired profile

• Experience: 2 years as a mechanic/technician (or apprentice) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Education: automotive mechanics (apprenticeship or diploma). CPA card for apprentices (1st, 2nd, and 3rd year) is an asset.
• Personal qualities: organized, team spirit, productive, meticulous, analytical skills, and technical curiosity.
