The Position Title: Experienced Mechanic / Technician Required experience: Minimum of 5 years in heavy vehicle mechanics
Location: Montreal, QC
Main Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy and electric/hybrid vehicles.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to manufacturer standards and internal procedures.
- Identify faults, propose solutions, and prepare repair estimates.
- Use modern diagnostic tools and software; program ECM/PCM/ECU.
- Collaborate with the team and ensure quality customer service.
- Adhere to safety rules, quality control procedures, and deadlines.
- Write clear intervention reports and document completed work.
- Participate in parts management and inventory.
- Attend training and pursue professional development.
Technical Skills (Specific Tasks)
- Diagnosis and repair of gasoline engines and injection systems
- Diagnostics of anti-pollution, air conditioning, and heating systems (HVAC)
- Diagnostics and maintenance of hybrid/electric vehicles
- Diagnosis and repair of electrical/electronic systems
- Programming ECM/PCM/ECU
- Suspension, steering, and hydraulic braking systems
Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy vehicle mechanics
- Strong skills in mechanics and modern electrical/electronic systems
- Team-oriented, service-minded, and excellent communication with clients and colleagues
- Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Relevant training in heavy vehicle field
- Availability to work flexible hours and adapt to operational needs
