Journeyman Mechanic

Job Openings: Automotive Mechanic – Apprentice or Certified Mechanic with CPA Card (1, 2, 3 or A, B, C)

Located in the Montreal area, our establishment is seeking a motivated apprentice or mechanic passionate about automobiles and holding a CPA Card, ready to contribute to our culture of professionalism and customer satisfaction. You will diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and collaborate with the team to meet client needs.

Main Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair various vehicles in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
• Systematically document services performed and maintain accurate records.
• Provide exemplary customer service by clearly explaining issues and repairs.
• Stay informed about developments in the industry and continuously develop technical skills.

Technical Areas and Tasks

• Gas engine diagnosis and repair
• Diagnosis and repair of anti-pollution systems
• Diagnosis and repair of hybrid or electric vehicles
• Diagnosis and repair of air conditioning/heating systems
• Diagnosis and repair of fuel injection system
• Electrical and electronic diagnosis and repair
• ECM / PCM / ECU programming
• Suspension and steering repair
• Maintenance and repair of the braking system (hydraulic)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum experience: apprentice with DEP or mechanic/technician from a dealership or service center
• Dodge experience (asset)
• Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving ability
• Autonomy and ability to work in a team
• Commitment to continuous improvement and updating knowledge of automotive technologies
• CPA Skill Card (1, 2, 3 or A, B, C)

Compensation

• Apprentice: starting at $24.33/hour
• Journeyman: starting at $42.50/hour
