Job description
We are seeking a Service Director for our Quebec facilities. You will be responsible for leading the after-sales service, ensuring the quality of the services provided, and ensuring safety, compliance and customer satisfaction, while supporting the group’s growth and profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team composed of technicians, reception staff and coordinators, delivering high-quality services within the established deadlines.
- Define and monitor operational objectives and key KPIs: customer satisfaction, first-time fix rate, average repair time, profitability.
- Optimize appointment, diagnostic, repair and billing processes; oversee parts and stock management; ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
- Collaborate closely with sales and the group’s network to maximize value-added services and foster customer loyalty.
- Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance; develop and engage the teams.
- Train and guide employees in their skills development.
- Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and partners.
- Ensure effective communication and clear reporting to management.
Profile sought
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a service management leadership role or in operational management in the automotive industry.
- Relevant degree (e.g., administration, management, engineering) or equivalent; training in management and continuous improvement appreciated.
- Proven leadership, excellent communication, strong customer service orientation, and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Mastery of after-sales service management tools (diagnostics, parts, warranty, planning, DMS/CRM) and performance analysis; results-oriented and problem-solving.
- Ability to analyze performance indicators and make strategic decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Bilingual French-English desired; ability to work in a dynamic environment and prioritize activities.
- Availability for a flexible schedule and adaptation to the network’s operational needs.
