Workshop Manager (Tires and Components) – Abitibi-Témiscamingue

Job Mission Plan, coordinate, and supervise the daily activities of the workshop to ensure compliance with operational priorities, deadlines, and quality standards; optimize operations by efficiently distributing work and monitoring task progress; ensure services and performance meet job requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the workshop’s daily activities.
- Distribute work among team members and monitor the progress of tasks.
- Coordinate the reception, identification, storage, and handling of tires and components.
- Track work orders and ensure the completion of necessary documentation for quick and accurate billing.
- Ensure the availability of equipment, tools, parts, and necessary resources.
- Participate in inventory control and follow-ups to maintain operational stock levels.
- Lead and motivate the team while ensuring procedures, work methods, and quality standards are respected.
- Manage attendance, schedules, and discipline in collaboration with the branch manager.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at work.
- Promote clear communication between the workshop, counter, sales, and other stakeholders.
- Carry out any other related tasks as required.
Profile Sought
- Experience in team management.
- Experience in the commercial or mining tire field (an asset).
- Organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong planning and operational coordination skills.
- Proficient in computer tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet).
- Good judgment and ability to prioritize.
- Recognized leadership with team mobilization skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
