Financial Controller – Longueuil Nissan (Motion Nissan Longueuil)

Your responsibilities

  • Prepare and oversee monthly and annual financial statements, analyze variances, and prepare reports for management.
  • Consolidate results, coordinate budget and forecasts, and monitor performance indicators.
  • Ensure IFRS/PCS compliance and maintain effective internal controls.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Prepare reports for management and support external audits and interactions with auditors.
  • Improve financial processes and systems (ERP, reporting, automation).
  • Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and optimize profitability.
  • Supervise, when necessary, a small finance team and develop internal skills.
  • Ensure tax and regulatory compliance and contribute to medium- and long-term financial planning.

Profile sought

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience in financial control or equivalent role.
  • CPA certification or equivalent (an asset).
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS and internal control processes.
  • Proficiency in computer tools (advanced Excel; ERP and reporting; knowledge of Power BI or equivalent is a plus).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills; autonomous while working in a team.
  • Fluency in French; professional English knowledge is a plus.

Additional experience and skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial control; supervisory experience or Controller role is an asset.
