Job Offer: Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Mechanic / Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and propulsion systems of electric and hybrid vehicles (electric motors, batteries, propulsion modules, high-voltage circuits).
• Use specialized diagnostic tools and software (OBD, CAN, multimeter, oscilloscope), read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs according to manufacturer procedures and internal standards.
• Conduct performance and safety tests, prepare detailed technical reports, and ensure traceability of interventions.
• Collaborate with technicians and advisors to optimize solutions and customer satisfaction.
• Strictly adhere to safety rules, CNESST procedures, and high-voltage component handling instructions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position; experience with electric and hybrid vehicles highly preferred.
• Automotive mechanic diploma or equivalent; specialized training in electric and hybrid vehicles is an asset.
• Proficiency with electrical systems and diagnostic tools (OBD, CAN, multimeter, oscilloscope); ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to handling high-voltage batteries and drive systems.
• Good analytical skills, attention to detail, independence, and teamwork; strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Valid driver's license.
