Automotive Painter – Full Time – Terrebonne (Quebec)

Position Description As an automotive painter, you will be responsible for surface preparation, applying coats of paint, and finishing in accordance with manufacturer standards and safety regulations. You will work in collaboration with the body shop team in a modern and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the surfaces to be painted (sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming)
- Mix and match colors according to manufacturer specifications
- Apply paint layers, base coats, and clear coats with specialized equipment
- Perform touch-ups for an impeccable finish
- Check the quality of work before delivery
- Maintain equipment and keep the work environment clean and safe
- Follow health and safety standards as well as manufacturer procedures
- Collaborate with the body shop team to ensure efficient service
Profile Sought
- Experience in automotive painting (an asset)
- Vocational training in bodywork or automotive painting (an asset)
- Good knowledge of surface preparation and paint application techniques
- Attention to detail, meticulousness, and a focus on quality
- Team spirit, autonomy, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
