Automotive Detailer – Vehicles Provided by Employer

VinFlip, a Quebec-based player in the purchase and sale of used vehicles, located in Varennes (South Shore of Montreal), is looking for an Automotive Detailer to ensure the impeccable presentation of our vehicles. You will join a dynamic team and work closely with operational departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for sale and inventory: exterior and interior washing, dusting, and quick touch-ups.
• Complete detailing: thorough cleaning, light polishing, shampooing carpets and seats, surface treatment, and maintenance of leather and textiles.
• Detect and report any aesthetic defects; suggest corrective measures in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work areas and the upkeep of equipment and tools.
• Collaborate with sales and inventory teams to optimize the visual appeal of vehicles during visits and photo sessions.
• Move vehicles as needed for operational purposes.

Profile Sought

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or in automotive aesthetics.
• Knowledge of detailing techniques and products for vehicle maintenance.
• Attention to detail, rigor, and ability to work quickly while respecting quality standards.
• Team spirit, customer service orientation, and reliability.
• Valid driver's license; availability based on operational needs. Experience with manual transmission is a plus.

Technical Skills and Qualities

• Mastery of washing and detailing techniques (interior and exterior).
• Knowledge of automotive cleaning products and tools.
• Visual quality control and attention to detail.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
