Automobile painter and bodywork specialist

Position: Automotive Painter-Bodyman (permanent – full-time)

Location Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec

About We are seeking a passionate professional in automotive bodywork, capable of restoring the appearance and quality of vehicles at first glance. Join a modern, clean, and well-equipped workshop where every detail matters.

Main Responsibilities

• Restore damaged body parts (replacement or repair of items such as doors, chassis, fenders) according to technical requirements.
• Straighten dents and bends using specialized tools to restore the original look.
• Perform welding and apply filler materials to smooth surfaces and fill imperfections.
• Sand, file, and adjust surfaces to achieve a uniform finish ready for painting.
• Prepare areas for painting (cleaning, degreasing, removing rust and residues).
• Mix paints and adjust shades to ensure a perfect match.
• Apply coats of paint and varnish using appropriate techniques for an aesthetic and durable finish.
• Perform regular maintenance of tools, equipment, and workspace in compliance with safety standards.
• Carry out other tasks related to vehicle bodywork and aesthetics (PPF and protective vinyls, tinting windows).

Candidate Profile

• Vocational diploma in bodywork or equivalent recognized in Canada or internationally.
• Experience in bodywork, painting, or automotive aesthetics.
• Experience with PPF and protective vinyls, as well as tinting windows.
• Valid driver's license permitting vehicle movement on-site.
